Whether you’re a road bike fan, or you like to take 2 wheels off the beaten track, Mark Warner’s cycling holidays will take you on a scenic tour of Rhodes, Kos, Corsica or Sardinia. If you love cycling, but want to widen your horizons and take in some dramatically beautiful panoramas then you’ll love this unique holiday.

Experts in providing luxury holiday packages that place you in spacious, comfortable rooms and make fine cuisine available to you around the clock, it’s practically impossible not to enjoy a fun and relaxing holiday centred around frequent rides out on your bike.

If you’re staying at one of Mark Warner’s beach resorts ; either the Levante Beach Resort, or Lemnos Beach Resort in Greece, or at the San Lucianu Beach Resort in Corsica, you’ll have a relatively easy ride on tarmac-covered roads, which have little traffic. If you want to off-road on your mountain bike, then your best option is to use the Perdepera Beach Resort in Sardinia as your base.

How do the cycling tours work?

You can choose from guided tours with an experienced cycle guide, who will take you to all the local beauty spots, cover up to 90km in a day and take you to all the best viewpoints. Or, if you prefer to be independent, you can simply make use of the equipment provided and make your own way, at your leisure. Maps and itineraries can be provided on request.

Mark Warner have a large fleet of Cannondale road bikes and hybrid bikes that you can hire. You’re also welcome to bring your own bike. Helmets are provided to all cyclists free of charge and you’ll have access to pumps, puncture repair kits and inner tubes, should you need to make some repairs along the way.

Your tour will suit your ability. If you enjoy the occasional bike ride, but don’t relish the challenge of cycling for 5 hours, you’ll probably be best suited to one of Mark Warner’s 1 or 2 hour tours. However, if you’re used to frequent, long bike rides, you might enjoy an entire day of intensive cycling. There are tours for adults and 13-17 year olds.

Cycling tour highlights

Some example tour highlights: In Rhodes, you’ll visit towns, churches and have amazing views of Afandou Bay. There will be steep descents to Stegna Beach in particular. If you book yourself onto the Rhodes Grand Tour, you’ll pass through the beautiful towns of Archipoli, Salakos, Elonesa and Dimilica.
