Itinerary

Day 1: UK to Marrakech

Depart from the UK and arrive in Marrakech, Morocco. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Casablanca

After breakfast, depart for Casablanca. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, and stroll along the Corniche Ain Diab promenade. Explore the Anfa and Habous districts, with their French and Moroccan-inspired architecture. See the central market, United Nations Square, and the art deco-inspired Mohammed V Square before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Fes

Travel to Fes, with a stop in Meknes for a guided tour. Explore Bab Mansour gate, the royal palaces, and Sultan Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum. Visit the UNESCO site of Volubilis with its Roman ruins, and later enjoy dinner in a traditional Moroccan riad.

Day 4: Fes

Embark on a walking tour of the Medina of Fes, exploring over 9,000 winding streets. Visit the famous tannery and shop for leather goods. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore Fes further.

Day 5: Erg Chebbi & Merzouga

Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, a ski resort. Continue to the stunning sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara and stay in a Kasbah-style hotel. Optionally, enjoy a camel ride or admire the sunset over the dunes.

Day 6: Dades Gorge

Travel through the Atlas Mountains and the dramatic Dades and Todgha Gorges. See the famous Route of A Thousand Kasbahs, with its ancient fortresses. Enjoy panoramic views from your hotel in the Dades Valley.

Day 7: Ouarzazate & Marrakech

Stop in Ouarzazate, also known as ‘Ouallywood,’ for a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah and the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Travel through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech

Take a full-day tour of Marrakech, visiting the Bahia Palace, Majorelle Gardens, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Explore the bustling souks and the famous Jemaa El Fna square.
