Itinerary

Day 1: UK to Malaga

Fly to Malaga and transfer to your hotel in Antequera. Enjoy some free time to relax and settle in before dinner this evening.

Day 2: Antequera – At Leisure

Spend the day at leisure in the medieval town of Antequera, where Moorish fortresses and Gothic churches dominate the skyline. If you want to explore further, join an optional guided tour, which includes a visit to the Roman Baths, the 16th-century Arch of the Giants, and the Dolmens—ancient megalithic tombs dating back 4,500 years. The tour also takes you to the stunning landscapes of El Torcal National Park.

Day 3: Cordoba

Travel to the historic city of Cordoba, beautifully set along the Guadalquivir River. The highlight of your visit is the 8th-century Mezquita, a stunning mosque-turned-cathedral with over 850 marble and jasper columns. Explore the winding streets of the Jewish Quarter, filled with charming courtyards and whitewashed houses, before returning to Antequera.

Day 4: Seville

Visit Seville, the vibrant capital of Andalucía, famed as the setting for Carmen and The Marriage of Figaro. Explore the Plaza de España, admire the Gothic cathedral, and see the Alcázar, a royal palace built on a Moorish fort. Wander through the lively Barrio Santa Cruz and enjoy a light lunch of traditional tapas, sampling delicacies such as patatas bravas, chorizo, and calamares a la romana.

Day 5: Antequera – At Leisure or Optional Excursion to Ronda

Relax at your hotel or take an optional excursion to the breathtaking clifftop town of Ronda. Marvel at the dramatic 600ft-deep El Tajo Gorge, which divides the town, and stroll through its picturesque cobblestone streets, lined with whitewashed houses.

Day 6: Granada & The Alhambra Palace
