Itinerary
Day 1: UK – Calgary
Fly to Calgary today. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in downtown Calgary. The rest of the day is free for leisure.
Day 2: Calgary – Banff
Transfer to Banff and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff National Park. Known for its stunning snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear lakes, sparkling streams, and rugged canyons with waterfalls, the park offers remarkable sights such as the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner, and Bow Falls. Optional: ride the Banff Gondola for spectacular views. We’ll gather for a group dinner in the evening.
Day 3: Lake Louise
Lake Louise, a glacial jade-green lake surrounded by towering peaks, is often described as Canada’s most beautiful location. Today’s excursion offers the chance to see if you agree with this stunning description.
Day 4: Banff – Jasper
Travel along the Banff-Jasper Highway, which reaches almost 7,000 feet above sea level and offers breathtaking views of mountain ranges. Stop at the Great Columbia Icefield for an Ice Explorer ride across the Athabasca Glacier.
Day 5: Jasper
Jasper, set within Jasper National Park, is home to the turquoise waters of Maligne Lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You’ll enjoy a morning tour, then have free time to explore. Optional activities include a river raft ride or a nature walk.
Day 6: Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops
Board the famous Rocky Mountaineer for a two-day journey to Kamloops. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning scenery as we pass through the Continental Divide, river valleys, and mountains. You’ll have spectacular views of Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, and Yellowhead Pass. Onboard, SilverLeaf service provides breakfast, lunch, and complimentary drinks as you enjoy the breathtaking views.
Day 7: Rocky Mountaineer – Vancouver
Continue your journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer towards Vancouver. As the landscape changes, you’ll pass winding river canyons, pristine forests, and dramatic mountains. Highlights include views of the Fraser River and Hell’s Gate, where the river narrows abruptly, forcing water to rush through a 35-metre-wide passage.
Day 8: Vancouver
Vancouver, surrounded by mountains, forests, and islands, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Our sightseeing tour includes Chinatown, Gas Town, Stanley Park with its famous totem poles, and the magnificent harbour. We’ll also visit Granville Island for a light lunch with a selection of gourmet delicacies, baked goods, and seafood.
Day 9: Vancouver – At Leisure
Today, you have the option to take a ferry to Vancouver Island to visit Victoria. Enjoy a city tour, explore the British Victorian heritage, and visit Butchart Gardens, a 50-acre garden filled with spectacular floral displays. Other highlights include the Parliament Building and the Empress Hotel.
Day 10: Vancouver – At Leisure
Explore Vancouver’s North Shore, which features the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain, on an optional excursion. In the evening, join your fellow travellers for a farewell drink to celebrate the end of an unforgettable trip.
Days 11 & 12: Vancouver – UK
Fly back to the UK on day 11, arriving on day 12.
