Itinerary Overview

Days 1-2: Fly to Bishkek & Explore the Capital

Fly overnight to Bishkek via Istanbul. Upon arrival, discover Kyrgyzstan’s fascinating capital city, including Ala-Too Square, Victory Square, the Museum of Art, and the vibrant Osh Bazaar.

Day 3: Lake Issyk-Kul & Cholpon-Ata

Travel through Boom Gorge to the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul. Visit ancient petroglyphs and the Ethnographical Museum before enjoying a scenic boat ride on one of the world’s highest navigable lakes.

Days 4-5: Karakol & Tepke

Walk through beautiful Grigorievsky Gorge before arriving in Karakol. Visit the Przhevalsky Museum, a traditional horse stud farm in Tepke, the colourful Dungan Mosque, and Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Day 6: Djety-Oguz Gorge & Tamga

Journey along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, stopping at the spectacular Djety-Oguz Gorge and Barskoon Gorge. End the day with a folklore performance and overnight stay in a traditional yurt camp.

Day 7: Eagle Hunters & Chon-Kemin Valley

Explore the extraordinary Fairytale Canyon before meeting a local eagle hunter for a fascinating demonstration. Visit a traditional carpet-making workshop and continue to the picturesque Chon-Kemin Valley.

Days 8-9: Burana Tower & Chunkurchak Gorge

Return to Bishkek via Burana Tower, one of the last surviving structures of the ancient city of Balasagun. Enjoy a final excursion into the beautiful Chunkurchak Gorge.

Day 10: Fly Home

Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
