 Day 1 UK – RhodesTitans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Rhodes. Day 2 RhodesWe travel the short distance to the UNESCO-protected medieval city of Rhodes, one of the most important in Europe. A local guide takes us on a walking tour, exploring the gates, towers, squares and churches, as well as the Castle of Knights, encased within a 4km wall. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 LindosJoin an included excursion to Lindos, a beautiful city in the south of the island overlooked by the Acropolis, from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding harbours and coastline. This evening you could join an optional walking tour of medieval Rhodes as citys colours change in the setting sun.
Day 4 RhodesToday is free on our Greece tour. You might choose to simply relax and enjoy the hotels excellent facilities; perhaps return to the city of Rhodes to enjoy its shady squares and tavernas; or join an optional tour of some of the islands rural villages. Day 5 Rhodes – SymiWe travel by catamaran to Symi, with the rest of the day at leisure. Day 6 SymiToday, we enjoy a tour of the island by private boat, travelling along the dramatic jagged coastline, continuing south across the island to Panormitis. Here we visit the elaborate 18th-century monastery of Archangel Michael, perhaps one of the most interesting churches on the island. We conclude our tour with a short cruise to the tiny islet of Sesklia, where the Athenians sought refuge from the Spartans during the Peloponnese War. Well enjoy a BBQ lunch on the beach, before making our way back, stopping on the way in the beautiful natural bay of St Georges to enjoy the superb scenery and tranquil atmosphere.
Day 7 SymiSpend today at leisure. Day 8 Symi – LerosWe transfer by catamaran to the remote and peaceful island of Leros, adorned with whitewashed villages, fertile valleys and green hills. Day 9 LerosOn our tour of the island we visit the Franco-Byzantine fort, which overlooks the capital town of Platanos, and the Byzantine castle on Mount Kasteli. We continue to the picturesque old Greek port of Agia Marina, with its pretty waterfront and old windmill.
Days 10-11 LerosTwo days at leisure to enjoy your pleasant surroundings, or perhaps book an excursion to visit the island of Patmos, where St John is said to have written the Book of Revelation while in exile. Day 12 Leros – RhodesWe take the catamaran back to Rhodes for our final three nights. Days 13-14 RhodesYoure free for the final two days of your Greek odyssey. Optional excursions are available to tour the island or visit Filerimos, Butterfly Valley, and the ancient Doric city in Kamiros. Day 15 Rhodes – UKTransfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home. |
