Malta’s central position in the Mediterranean, just south of Sicily, has shaped its rich and fascinating history. This 8-day tour takes you from the 16th-century capital of Valletta, built by the Knights of St John, to prehistoric temples dating back to 3600 BC. You’ll also explore the characterful towns of Mosta, Rabat, and Mdina.

Itinerary

Day 1: UK – Valletta – St Julian’s
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Malta. On arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel in St Julian’s.

Day 2: Valletta
Begin exploring Malta with a guided tour of its 16th-century capital:

• St John’s Cathedral
• Fort St Elmo
• National War Museum
• Upper Barrakka Gardens

Included: Half-day guided tour in the afternoon

Day 3: St Julian’s
Free day to relax or explore independently.
Optional: Guided half-day harbour cruise.

Day 4: St Julian’s
Another day at leisure.
Optional: “Times of Malta” excursion, visiting historical museums, local villages, and Malta’s highest viewpoint.

Day 5: Hagar Qim – Wied iz-Zurrieq
Morning visit to the UNESCO-listed Hagar Qim temple complex (3600–3200 BC), followed by time in the small harbour of Wied iz-Zurrieq.

Day 6: Gozo
Full-day guided tour of Malta’s sister island, Gozo. Highlights include:

• The Citadel in Victoria
• Bay of Xlendi
• Ggantija Temples – older than the Egyptian pyramids

Day 7: Mosta – Rabat – Mdina
Discover three of Malta’s most historic towns:

• Mosta and its famous Rotunda church
• Rabat, said to be where St Paul lived
• Mdina, the ‘silent city’, with its cathedral and massive bastions

Day 8: St Julian’s – Valletta – UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. On arrival in the UK, your Titan vehicle will be waiting to take you home.
