Overview

Glaciers to geysers, waterfalls to woodlands, Reykjavík and back — discover Iceland in all its natural glory. This unforgettable journey begins and ends in Reykjavík and takes in the country’s most dramatic sights: the bubbling sulphuric mud springs of Námaskarð, the vast Vatnajökull glacier, and the historic rift valley at Thingvellir where two tectonic plates meet.

Itinerary

Day 1 – UK to Reykjavík

Fly to Iceland and head straight for your first bucket-list moment: a visit to the Blue Lagoon, one of the world’s most iconic geothermal spas. After some relaxing time in the mineral-rich waters, transfer to your hotel in Reykjavík.

Day 2 – Borgarfjörður, Skagafjörður & Víðimýri

Travel through the Holtavörðuheiði Plateau, stopping in Borgarfjörður and the charming village of Blönduós. Visit the turf church of Víðimýri before continuing to Akureyri.
Overnight: Akureyri
Excursions: Borgarfjörður, Skagafjörður, Víðimýri

Day 3 – Akureyri, Húsavík, Tjörnes & Ásbyrgi

Enjoy a short city tour of Akureyri before exploring the Arctic town of Húsavík and the dramatic Tjörnes Peninsula. End with a visit to the awe-inspiring Ásbyrgi canyon.
Overnight: Akureyri

Day 4 – Lake Mývatn, Námaskarð & Dettifoss

Marvel at Goðafoss waterfall, then explore Lake Mývatn’s volcanic landscape, the steam vents at Námaskarð, and mighty Dettifoss — one of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls. Continue to Egilsstaðir.

Day 5 – Eastern Fjords to Höfn

Travel along the rugged coastline, through Iceland’s spectacular eastern fjords, and arrive at Höfn with views of the immense Vatnajökull glacier — Europe’s largest.
Overnight: Höfn

Day 6 – Jökulsárlón & Vatnajökull National Park

Visit the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón, surrounded by icebergs and seabirds. Discover Vatnajökull National Park, with views of towering peaks and pristine wilderness.
Overnight: Kirkjubæjarklaustur

Day 7 – South Coast to Hveragerði

Explore the black sands and sea stacks of Reynishverfi or Dyrhólaey (seasonal). Visit the Skógar Folk Museum, and pass the waterfalls of Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss en route to Hveragerði.
Overnight: Hveragerði

Day 8 – Gullfoss, Geysir & Thingvellir

Marvel at the explosive Strokkur geyser, the two-tiered falls of Gullfoss, and the rift valley at Thingvellir, where you’ll stand between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Return to Reykjavík in the afternoon.
Overnight: Reykjavík

Day 9 – Reykjavík at Leisure

Spend your final full day exploring Iceland’s quirky capital. Optional whale watching or museum visits available.

Day 10 – Return to UK

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will take you home.
