Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Amman
Fly from London to Amman and transfer to the
Four Seasons Hotel Amman for 2 nights. (N)
Day 2: Amman Jerash
Morning tour of Amman, visiting the citadel and
the Jordan Museum, which contains a copper
version of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Afternoon tour
of the ancient city of Jerash. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Madaba Mount Nebo Shobak Petra
Travel along the Kings Highway to Petra. Stop
en route at Madaba to see a Byzantine mosaic
map of the region and Mount Nebo, from
where Moses first viewed the Holy Land. There
will also be the opportunity to visit the 12th-century
crusader castle of Shobak. Stay 3 nights
at the Mvenpick Resort Petra (in a junior
suite), situated at the entrance to the site. (B, D)
Day 4: Petra
Take a guided tour of the archaeological site
of Petra. The impressive rock-cut facade of the
Treasury is the highlight of this rose-red city,
rediscovered by JL Burckhardt in 1812. (B, D)
Day 5: Petra
Day at leisure to explore Petra further.
Optional evening visit to Petra by candlelight.

Day 6: Little Petra Wadi Rum
Morning visit to Al Beidha, or Little Petra,
before driving to Wadi Rum for a 4×4 excursion
into the desert. Overnight at the Bespoke
Hideaways Bedu Camp. Enjoy stargazing as
the sun sets and the sky turns ink black. (B, D)
Day 7: Dead Sea
Transfer to the Dead Sea. Stay 2 nights at the
Kempinski Ishtar Hotel. (B)
Day 8: Dead Sea
Day at leisure. Enjoy the hotels facilities or
take an optional excursion to the baptism site
of Jesus in Bethany, on the banks of the River
Jordan. (B)
Day 9: Fly to London
Transfer to the airport and fly from Amman
to London. (B)
