About Azamara Quest:
The Azamara Quest is a mid-sized ship offering an intimate cruising experience. With a deck plan that ensures space and comfort, it provides everything modern voyagers desire, plus some unexpected extras. Tour Itinerary:Days 1-2: Arrive in Victoria Falls Fly overnight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Upon arrival, you will be met by an English-speaking guide and transferred to your lodge in Botswana. Spend the rest of the day soaking up the local culture.
Day 3: Explore Chobe National Park Experience two game drives in Chobe National Park, one in the early morning and another in the late afternoon. Famous for its large elephant herds and over 440 bird species, Chobe offers some of Africa’s best wildlife viewing.
Day 4: Ride the Livingstone Express Enjoy a morning game drive before crossing into Zambia. In the evening, step aboard the Royal Livingstone Express for a luxurious steam train journey, featuring fine dining as you travel to Victoria Falls Bridge.
Day 5: Discover Victoria Falls Begin with a sunrise cruise on the Zambezi River, followed by a visit to the majestic Victoria Falls, known locally as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ or ‘The Smoke that Thunders.’ Spend the afternoon exploring the falls.
Day 6: Travel to Cape Town Transfer to the airport for a flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy dinner at the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Day 7: Explore Cape Town Explore Cape Town’s rich history and diverse culture. Visit the V&A Waterfront, Greenmarket Square, the Castle of Good Hope, and the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood. Ascend Table Mountain via cableway for stunning views, and enjoy a traditional African dinner at GOLD Restaurant.
Day 8: Board the Azamara Quest After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town’s cruise terminal to board the Azamara Quest. Spend the rest of the day exploring the ship and settling in.
Days 9-10: Cruise At Sea Relax and enjoy the amenities on board as you cruise along South Africa’s coastline.
Day 11: Cruise Explore Durban Port in Durban, a city rich in Zulu, Indian, and European influences, with plenty of history and culture to discover.
Day 12: Cruise Explore Richards Bay Arrive at Richards Bay to explore some of South Africa’s most beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Day 13: Cruise – Richards Bay Spend another day exploring Richards Bay, enjoying the scenery and wildlife.
Days 14-15: Cruise – At Sea Relax and enjoy the ship’s facilities as you cruise the Indian Ocean.
Day 16: Cruise – Explore Port Elizabeth Port at Port Elizabeth, known for its beautiful beaches and dense elephant population in nearby wilderness areas.
Day 17: Cruise – Port Elizabeth Enjoy another day in Port Elizabeth, making the most of the ships amenities.
Day 18: Explore Mossel Bay Arrive at the harbor town of Mossel Bay on the famous Garden Route, known for its beaches and natural beauty.
Day 19: Cruise – Cape Town Return to Cape Town for a final day aboard the Azamara Quest, enjoying the ships amenities.
Day 20: Arrive Cape Town Disembark in Cape Town and visit Simon’s Town to see the penguins of Boulders Beach. Enjoy lunch before transferring to your hotel.
Day 21: Discover the Winelands Tour the renowned Cape Winelands, enjoying wine tastings in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl, and a tram ride through vineyards. A delicious lunch is included.
Day 22: Fly Cape Town to UK Fly back to the UK, arriving home the same day or the following day.
