ItineraryDay 1: Arrival Join your tour group at the hotel in a vibrant and cosmopolitan city surrounded by the spectacular Eros and Auas mountain ranges. Day 2: Rehoboth and Kalahari Basin Travel south through picturesque ranching land, spotting yellow-billed hornbills and baboons. Arrive at your lodge in the Kalahari Basin for an exciting nature drive. Day 3: Namib Desert Head to the Namib Desert, known as the ‘dune sea’, with its ever-moving, colossal dunes. Day 4: Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon Early departure for a 4WD excursion in Sossusvlei, exploring some of the world’s highest dunes, followed by a visit to Sesriem Canyon. Day 5: Swakopmund Travel to Namibia’s premier coastal resort, Swakopmund. Explore Moon Valley and see the ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis plant. Orientation tour upon arrival. Day 6: Walvis Bay Enjoy a marine cruise in Walvis Bay, watching for bird and sealife while enjoying oysters and champagne. Leisurely afternoon in Swakopmund. Day 7: Henties Bay and Cape Cross Journey along the coast to Henties Bay and Cape Cross seal colony. Continue to Damaraland, visiting rock art sites in the area. Day 8: Petrified Forest Visit the Petrified Forest, with tree trunks estimated to be 200 million years old. Arrive at your lodge near Etosha National Park. Day 9: Etosha National Park Full day of game viewing in Etosha National Park, visiting various water holes to watch the animals in their natural habitat. Day 10: Otjiwarongo Travel to a private game reserve in Otjiwarongo for a two-night stay. Afternoon game drive in open 4WD vehicles. Day 11: Game Viewing Morning game drive to spot local wildlife, including lions, giraffe, and elephant. Free afternoon to relax and explore.
