ItineraryDay 1: Fly to Belize via the USFly from London to Belize City with an overnight in the US. (N) Days 2-4: Belize City Cayo districtDrive to the Cayo district, known for its dense jungle, parks and ecological reserves, for 3 nights in a jungle lodge. Take optional tours to visit the rainforest and spot native wildlife or to the Mayan ruins of Caracol, the largest archaeological site in Belize. (B) Days 5-7: Placencia / Caye CaulkerDrive to the beach resort of Placencia in southern Belize for a relaxing 3-night stay. Optional excursions include snorkelling and the Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary. Alternatively, fly to Caye Caulker, home to dense mangrove forest and a variety of birdlife or to the Toledo District in southern Belize, where you will find some of the most pristine rainforests.
