Cruise Overview
Following embarkation in Cologne, this enchanting cruise takes you south on the Rhine to Koblenz, where the journey continues on the Moselle River. Along the way, you’ll visit the delightful town of Cochem, known for its fairytale-like castle and picturesque setting.
The adventure continues with a stop in Trier, the oldest city in Germany, famous for its Roman amphitheatre, baths, and the imposing Porta Nigra a fortified gate that once marked the eastern border of the Roman Empire.
After reaching Bernkastel, our furthest port of call, we cruise back downstream towards the Rhine, giving you ample time to relax and soak in the stunning Moselle Valley scenery.
Rejoining the Rhine, the cruise visits the old town of Koblenz, strategically located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. The journey also includes a stop in Boppard, affectionately known as the “Pearl of the Rhine.”
One of the cruise highlights is the breathtaking journey through the Rhine Gorge, where you’ll enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding landscapes and spot the famous Lorelei rock. The cruise continues to Rdesheim, one of Germany’s most charming towns, before heading back north to Cologne for a guided city tour.

Day 1 – Arrival in Cologne
- Embarkation: Begin your journey in Cologne, a vibrant city with a rich history. After checking into your luxurious five-star river cruise ship, take some time to settle in and explore the ship’s amenities.
- Evening at Leisure: You can spend the evening exploring Cologne on your own or enjoying a relaxed dinner onboard while taking in the views of the city’s iconic skyline, including the twin spires of Cologne Cathedral.
Day 2 – Cochem
- Morning Cruising: Start your day with a scenic cruise along the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Enjoy breakfast as you take in the beautiful landscapes that unfold along the riverbanks.
- Afternoon in Cochem: Arrive in the charming town of Cochem. Explore the town’s historic center, known for its half-timbered houses, and visit the imposing Reichsburg Castle, which offers stunning views over the Moselle Valley.
- Evening Relaxation: Return to the ship for dinner and perhaps a stroll along the deck as the sun sets over the river.
Day 3 – Trier
- Morning Cruising: Continue your cruise upstream along the Moselle River, enjoying breakfast with panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and picturesque villages.
