OverviewThe Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites is nestled on the shores of the Persian Gulf, with a private beach on its doorstep. By day, youve got a choice of pools including two for families and a semi-Olympic-sized spot for adults. The wining and dining scene is just as varied, with 10 restaurants and bars in total. Theres the option to go All Inclusive, too. Thanks to its setting at the edge of the Palm Crescent, the hotel boasts 360-degree views of the city. Look across the skyline, and you’ll see the sail-like Burj Al Arab and the gate-shaped outline of Atlantis, The Palm. Please note, a room tax of AED 20 per room, per night is payable on arrival at the hotel. FacilitiesRixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites has a couple of plus-sized pools, along with waterside and beachfront bars. You can sign up for watersports like jet-skiing and parasailing, or book scuba sessions at the diving centre. Head to the buffet restaurant for main meals, or visit one of the three la cartes. There are a couple of bars which stay open until the early hours. In the spa, around-the-world beauty treatments are on offer. You can pick from a pair of pools here. One’s reserved for grown-ups, and the other’s a family number with views out to sea. The latter of the two comes with a turquoise-tinted bar for company, as well.There’s a private stretch of beach within touching distance of the pool, so you can change up your sunbathing scene day by day.
Food & DrinkBig buffets are laid out in the A La Turca restaurant. The spread’s got an international theme and includes Turkish kebabs and Mediterranean meze.There are a couple of fine-dining places where you can treat your tastebuds. One’s an Italian place, called L’Olivo, and the other’s a fusion restaurant that blends classic Aegean flavours with Oriental ingredients.
EntertainmentGet into the party mood at the I-Chill Beach Lounge it’s open until the early hours, so you can watch Dubai’s skyline light up when the sun goes down.The Toro Loco steakhouse restaurant hosts live music and DJ sets until late. For something a little more chilled, share a cushioned booth in the Shisha Lounge.
Sports & ActivitiesWatersports are top of the pile when it comes to activities. You can sort scuba sessions at the PADI-approved diving centre*, or book time on jet-skis*, banana boats*, and the Jetovator* a flying, water-powered bike. Beach volleyball, water polo and badminton are among the sports on offer. You can also join yoga and step aerobics classes.
