This tour takes you through the island’s most iconic landmarks, including ancient temples, medieval towns, and beautiful beaches.

Day 1: Arrival in Sicily

• Arrive at Catania Airport and travel by coach to your hotel for a 3-night stay (with breakfast and dinner included).
• Depending on the date of departure, you’ll stay at either Kaos Hotel or Hotel Baia di Ulisse.

Day 2: Valley of the Temples

• Visit the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its remarkable Greek ruins.
• Explore six temples, including the magnificent Temple of Concordia, one of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world.
• Optional visit to the museum displaying ancient finds. Afterward, enjoy a walk through Agrigento, a medieval town with tiny streets and picturesque piazzas.

Day 3: Monreale & Palermo

• Visit Monreale Abbey, a Benedictine monastery known for its extraordinary 12th-century mosaics, offering panoramic views of Palermo.
• Afternoon in Palermo: Discover the city’s vibrant history and architecture, including the Norman Palace, Palermo Cathedral, and other iconic sites blending Norman, Arabic, and Baroque influences.

Day 4: Piazza Armerina & Taormina

• Piazza Armerina: Explore the 4th-century Roman Villa Romana del Casale, known for its stunning mosaics.
• Continue to Taormina, one of Sicily’s most charming towns, perched on a hilltop with magnificent views of the coastline and Mount Etna. You’ll choose from three hotel options for a 4-night stay:
  • Hotel Sant’Alphio Garden in Giardini Naxos.
  • Hotel Excelsior Palace in Taormina with panoramic views.
  • Hotel Baia Taormina, set into a cliff with stunning sea views.

Day 5: Free Day in Taormina

• Spend the day exploring Taormina, known for its ancient Greek theatre, narrow streets, and charming piazzas.
• Enjoy the town’s boutique shopping, delicious cuisine, and stunning views of Mount Etna and the Mediterranean.

Day 6: Siracusa

• Visit Siracusa, an ancient Greek city renowned for its historical significance, including the Temple of Apollo and Baroque Cathedral.
• Explore Ortygia, the old town, an island full of beautiful limestone buildings, charming streets, and traditional fishing ports. Optionally, take a boat trip around the bay.

Day 7: Mount Etna

• Ascend Mount Etna, Europe’s highest and most active volcano. Visit the base of the summit, where you can take a cable car, jeep, and guide to explore higher levels of the volcano, enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Day 8: Return Flight

• After a fascinating tour, return to Catania for your flight back home, filled with memories of this amazing island.
