Overview
People often talk of the emotional power of seeing creatures like lions and elephants in their natural habitats. And there are few better places to experience it than South Africa. Travelling to four different reserves, we give you the chance to see the Big Five, plus antelopes, hippos, hyena and countless bird species. In between, we’ll cross dramatic mountain landscapes and learn of the area’s ancient civilisations. Each night we’ll stay in wonderfully welcoming lodges, sharing memories of the day’s encounters.

Here’s your South Africa Wildlife & Safari Adventure itinerary
Day 1 – UK to Johannesburg
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your overnight flight to Johannesburg.
Day 2 – Waterberg Biosphere
Accommodation: Tented Lodge

Arrive in Johannesburg and travel north to the stunning Waterberg region. Settle into your tented lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive through the reserve.
Day 3 – Waterberg Safari
Accommodation: Tented Lodge
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Start the day with a game drive at dawn. You may spot the Big Five and other native wildlife. After lunch, head out for another exciting drive before enjoying a special bush dinner.
Day 4 – Waterberg Exploration
Accommodation: Tented Lodge

Enjoy a guided walking safari to experience the bush on foot, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Day 5 – To Limpopo
Accommodation: Lodge (Mapesu Nature Reserve)

Travel further north to Limpopo. Enjoy a picnic en route before arriving at your tranquil lodge. Take a relaxing bush walk in the reserve this afternoon.
Day 6 – Mapungubwe National Park & Heritage Site

Discover the ancient UNESCO-listed Mapungubwe heritage site. Visit the archaeological museum and see the famous ‘Golden Rhino’. Enjoy a game drive in the national park after lunch.
Day 7 – Rock Art & Game Drive

Return to Mapungubwe for a morning bush walk or game drive. In the afternoon, visit San rock art sites, showcasing 200+ ancient paintings.
Day 8 – Makalali Private Game Reserve

Journey to the picturesque Makalali Reserve beneath the northern Drakensberg Mountains. After arrival, set out on a sunset game drive.
Day 9 – Game Drives in Makalali

Morning and afternoon game drives in this breathtaking region. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, and more.
Day 10 – Makalali Safaris Continue

Enjoy another full day of game drives with chances to spot elusive wildlife like leopards or African wild dogs.
Day 11 – Panorama Route to Kruger National Park
Accommodation: Lodge within Kruger National Park

Travel along the scenic Panorama Route with stops at Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window. Arrive at your lodge inside Kruger National Park.
Day 12 – Kruger National Park

Two included game drives today, exploring one of Africa’s greatest wildlife havens.
Day 13 – Kruger Wildlife Viewing
Accommodation: Lodge within Kruger

Enjoy your final day of safaris with morning and afternoon game drives. Spend the evening reminiscing over a farewell dinner.
Day 14 – Return to Johannesburg

Transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK.
