Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Norway

Fly to Oslo and settle into your hotel for two nights. In the evening, gather with fellow travellers for a welcome drink and dinner.

Day 2 – Discovering Oslo’s Charms

Guided city tour including the striking Opera House, Karl Johans Gate, Akershus Castle, and the Royal Palace. Visit Holmenkollen Ski Museum with panoramic views and artefacts from polar expeditions. Explore the Fram Museum, stepping aboard the legendary vessel that reached both poles. The day ends with a three-course dinner cruise on Oslo Fjord.

Day 3 – Journey to the Arctic

Fly north to Longyearbyen on Spitsbergen. Witness the midnight sun where daylight never ends in July. Dinner and overnight stay in the world’s northernmost settlement.

Morning visit to the Svalbard Museum, then board the Expedition Ship for seven nights of Arctic exploration.

Days 5–10 – Arctic Expedition Experience

A six-day polar voyage along Svalbard’s stunning coastline. Highlights may include Ny-Ålesund, Bellsund, Hornsund, and Northwest Spitsbergen National Park (weather and ice permitting).

• Navigate fjords, glaciers, and pack ice aboard the expedition vessel
• Daily Zodiac landings and shore walks — two excursions per day when possible
• Spot wildlife such as Arctic fox, reindeer, whales, walruses, and the elusive polar bear
• Small ship (128 passengers) allows access to remote areas larger ships cannot reach
