Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Arusha via Nairobi
Evening flight from London (regional
connections available) to Arusha, via Nairobi. (N)
Day 2: Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be
met by a tour representative and transferred to the Arusha Serena Resort, where you will
meet the group and have dinner before an
overnight stay. (D)
Day 3: Lake Manyara
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, home
to tree-climbing lions and huge flocks of
migratory pink flamingos. Enjoy an afternoon
game drive in the park and stay 1 night at Lake
Manyara Serena Lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Set off on a morning safari drive around Lake
Manyara before continuing to the Ngorongoro
Crater. Here the fertile soil and often lush
vegetation attracts huge wildlife numbers that
are rarely sustainable elsewhere. Stay 2 nights
at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Travel down into the crater and spend the
day exploring the diverse environments of
the crater floor. There are more than 25,000
animal inhabitants here, including rare black
rhinos, lions, elephants, hyenas, wildebeests,
buffaloes, hippos, ostriches and flamingos.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park (central) via
Olduvai Gorge
Some of the earliest evidence of human existence
has been discovered at the Olduvai Gorge,
where you will make a stop today en route to
the Serengeti, one of the best safari destinations in the whole of Africa. Huge quantities of life
exist here, including the Big Five, even when the
Great Migration has moved on. Stay 2 nights at
Serengeti Serena Lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Serengeti National Park (central)
Join morning and afternoon game drives, looking
out for hippos, leopards, colobus monkeys, lions
and a host of other extraordinary creatures. In
the evening you may opt for an optional nature
walk with your guide. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Serengeti National Park (west)
Head west on a safari drive for an alternative
experience of the Serengeti and its
spellbinding landscapes and wildlife. Stay
overnight at the award-winning Kirawira
Serena Camp. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Fly to Arusha
Enjoy a final safari drive before your afternoon
transfer to the Grumeti Airstrip for your flight
back to Arusha. Overnight at the Arusha

Day 10: Fly to London via Nairobi
