Overview
Combine fast-paced cities with the easy, breezy hills of Malaysia’s tea country. Your adventure begins in Singapore, home to solar-powered ‘supertrees’, shopping malls, leafy botanical gardens and a medley of Chinese, Indian, Malay and English influences. After a few days seeing the sights, we’ll cross the border into Malaysia. As well as uncovering the history and culture of Kuala Lumpur, we’ll have time to relax with a cuppa in the Cameron Highlands and a cocktail by Penang’s beach.

Day 1: UK – In Flight

Day 2: Singapore

On arrival at Singapore Changi Airport, we transfer to our hotel.
Day 3: Exploring Singapore

Singapore is one of Asia’s most vibrant cities, known for its astounding skyscrapers, multicultural heritage, and lush gardens. A city tour begins with panoramic views from Marina Bay Sands, followed by a visit to Merlion Park, home to the famous lion-fish fountain. The tour continues to Thian Hock Temple, a grand monument dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu. The journey then takes us to the National Orchid Garden and concludes in Little India, where the air is filled with the scents of joss sticks, jasmine, and spices.
Day 4: Free Day in Singapore
Location: National Museum of Singapore, Gardens by the Bay

Spend the day at leisure exploring the city or visiting the National Museum of Singapore. Alternatively, enjoy a peaceful day at Gardens by the Bay, a 250-acre nature park filled with over 1.5 million plants and flowers.
Day 5: Malacca

Travel to Malacca, Malaysia’s third-smallest state, known for its rich colonial heritage. Enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Malacca River, offering unique views of the city and its flourishing gardens.
Day 6: Malacca – Kuala Lumpur
Location: Malacca City, Bukit Cina, Porta de Santiago, St Paul’s Church, Red Square, Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Jonker Street, Kuala Lumpur

A guided tour of Malacca City begins at Bukit Cina, followed by a visit to the Sultan’s Well. The tour continues past Porta de Santiago, St Paul’s Church, and the Red Square, home to Dutch colonial buildings. Next is the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum, which highlights the unique Chinese-Malay culture. The final stop is the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, located on historic Jonker Street. Later, we transfer to Kuala Lumpur.
Day 7: Kuala Lumpur

A city tour of Kuala Lumpur begins with a photo stop at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The tour includes Chinatown, the Parliament House, the War Memorial, and the New King’s Palace. The journey continues past the Federal Court and Masjid Negara, Malaysia’s national mosque, before an afternoon of leisure to explore the city.
Day 8: Cameron Highlands

Depart Kuala Lumpur for the Cameron Highlands, a lush retreat known for its tea plantations and colonial architecture. Visit the BOH Tea Plantation to learn about its history and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding tea fields. The tour continues with a visit to Kea Farm Market and the Time Tunnel Museum, which showcases the region’s colonial history.
Day 9: Taiping – Penang
Location: Cameron Highlands, Taiping, British Commonwealth War Memorial, Lake Gardens, Bukit Merah, Orang-Utan Island, Penang

Travel from the Cameron Highlands to Taiping, a city with historical colonial landmarks. Visit the British Commonwealth War Memorial and the picturesque Lake Gardens. Continue to Bukit Merah and take a boat ride to Orang-Utan Island, a rehabilitation and conservation center. After this unforgettable experience, transfer to Penang.
Day 10: Penang
Location: Penang, Goddess of Mercy Temple, Penang State Museum and Gallery, Reclining Buddha Temple

Explore Penang, also known as the Pearl of the Orient. Visit the seafront, water villages, and the Street of Harmony, which leads to the Goddess of Mercy Temple. The tour also includes the Penang State Museum and Gallery, as well as the stunning Reclining Buddha Temple.

Enjoy a free day to explore Penang or relax on the beach. Take the opportunity to visit the colonial streets of George Town or indulge in the local cuisine at a beachfront restaurant.
