Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Fly to Nairobi

Fly to Nairobi, capital and beating heart of Kenya. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 – Travel to Amboseli

Journey to Amboseli National Park. Afternoon game drive across the plains with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. (B,L,D)

Day 3 – Amboseli National Park

Explore Amboseli’s wildlife against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest peak. Swamps, grasslands and forests make this a photographer’s paradise. (B,L,D)

Day 4 – Arusha

Cross into Tanzania and travel to Arusha. Afternoon at leisure. (B,L)

Day 5 – Visit Tribal Communities

Travel to Lake Eyasi and visit the Hadzabe tribe for a guided bush walk. Continue to a Datoga village to meet skilled blacksmiths. (B,L,D)

Day 6 – Safari in Ngorongoro

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of the world’s greatest natural amphitheatres. Continue to the Serengeti. (B,L,D)

Day 7 – Explore the Serengeti

Full-day game drive in the Serengeti, with picnic lunch in the wild. Look for lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards and more. (B,L,D)

Day 8 – Journey to the Maasai Mara

Cross back into Kenya and travel into the Maasai Mara region. (B,L,D)

Day 9 – Maasai Mara

Full-day safari in the Maasai Mara plus a visit to a Maasai village. (B,L,D)

Day 10 – Great Rift Valley

Morning game drive in Maasai Mara before travelling to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. Evening at leisure. (B,L,D)

Day 11 – Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru

Boat ride on Lake Naivasha with hippos and exotic birds. Walking safari on Crescent Island. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. (B,L,D)

Day 12 – Nairobi

Return to Nairobi. Visit David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Giraffe Centre, and Karen Blixen Museum before checking in at your hotel. (B,L,D)

Days 13–14 – Depart Nairobi

Breakfast, then transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
