Your Itinerary

Day 1 – Northbound Departure from Trondheim

Trondheim → Rørvik

Your Arctic adventure begins in the historic city of Trondheim. Board your Havila ship and begin sailing north along Norway’s spectacular coastline towards Rørvik.

Day 2 – Crossing into the Arctic

Brønnøysund → Sandnessjøen → Nesna → Ørnes → Bodø → Stamsund → Svolvær

Continue north through the beautiful Helgeland Coast and cross the Arctic Circle. The scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as you travel towards Bodø and onwards to the magnificent Lofoten Islands.

Day 3 – Tromsø, Capital of the Arctic

Stokmarknes → Sortland → Risøyhamn → Harstad → Finnsnes → Tromsø → Skjervøy

Sail through Vesterålen and a collection of fascinating coastal communities before arriving in Tromsø. Surrounded by mountains and Arctic landscapes, Tromsø is one of Northern Norway’s most exciting destinations.

Day 4 – At the Top of Europe

Øksfjord → Hammerfest → Havøysund → Honningsvåg → Kjøllefjord → Mehamn → Berlevåg

Travel deeper into the Arctic as you visit some of Norway’s most remote northern communities. Arrive in Honningsvåg, the gateway to the legendary North Cape, before continuing along the rugged Finnmark coast.

Day 5 – Arrival in Kirkenes

Båtsfjord → Vardø → Vadsø → Kirkenes

Your final day takes you through the far northeast of Norway, calling at Båtsfjord, Vardø and Vadsø before arriving in Kirkenes, close to the Russian border and the end point of your northbound coastal journey.
