Itinerary
Day 1: UK – Tashkent
Fly overnight from the UK to Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s capital city.
Day 2: Tashkent
After arriving, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city’s highlights before a welcome meal with your fellow travellers.
Day 3: Khiva
Fly to Urgench and transfer to Khiva, where you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Ichan Kala and visit a handicraft centre.
Day 4: Bukhara
Travel in comfort on a high-speed train to Bukhara, passing through scenic landscapes.
Day 5: Bukhara
Discover Bukhara’s architectural wonders, including Poi-Kalyan Mosque, Lyab-i Hauz, and a puppet-making workshop.
Day 6: Bukhara
Visit key sites such as the Ark of Bukhara Fortress and the Samanid Mausoleum, followed by a train journey to Samarkand.
Day 7: Samarkand
Explore this ancient Silk Road city, visit the Siab Bazaar, and enjoy a wine tasting at the Hovrenko Wine Factory.
Day 8: Samarkand – At Leisure
Explore independently or join an optional excursion to Shakhrisabz before an evening cooking class to prepare Plov.
Day 9: Samarkand – Tashkent
Visit the Afrasiab Museum and the Meros Paper Mill before taking a high-speed train back to Tashkent.
Day 10: Tashkent – UK
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
