Top 10 Off the Beaten Track Destinations for 2020!

Their offering features some real off-the-beaten-track places with extraordinary features and views. Want to beat the crowds and enjoy exciting new surroundings? Heres their list and how to get there:
Milwaukee:
Its the cream city on the shores of Lake Michigan, just up the coast from Chicago and so-called due to the light-coloured bricks used in the architecture. Known for its breweries. Its home to Miller-Coors, and its Harley Davidson motorcycles, youll find plenty to do in the centre including art galleries and the city zoo. Our favourite tour, which includes a day in Milwaukee, is the epic month-long Best of USA tour by G Adventures. Itll take you from New York, through Chicago, and the famous music towns, over to the West Coast.
Bilbao:
Located in the heart of the Basque Country, in Spain, Bilbao is a coastal city famed for its exquisite seafood and pintxos; its tasty version of tapas. As part of the Pilgrim Trail, theres plenty of beautiful architecture to explore, including the 15th-centurycathedral and the 16th-century Basilica of Degona. While youre there, be sure to allow time for a visit to the Guggenheim art gallery and enjoy an hour or two of people-watching over a coffee, or glass of wine, in the large central square, Plaza Nueva. Buriram:
Often referred to as the City of Happiness, Buriram is in northeast Thailand and boasts some beautiful scenery and wildlife. With its premier league football team, its also a popular destination with soccer-enthusiasts. Highlights of Buriram include a stroll through the Khao Kradong Forest Park, a marvel at the infamous King Rama monument, an exploration of the Khmer-style Wat Pa Khao Noi temple, and a shopping trip to the night bazaar. Sunbury:
Formally considered a part of Greater Melbourne, Sunbury is a town in Victoria, south-east Australia, that offers visitors here a warm sunshine-filled welcome, and plenty of beautiful attractions. Cricket fans should pay a visit, given that its the birthplace of The Ashes, and wildlife fans will love the Dingo Discovery Sanctuary. Also, look out for the wild koalas lining the branches overhead as you make your way along the Great Ocean Road. This is a journey everyone in the area needs to take, particularly as it includes the nearby sights of the Phillip Island penguins, Apollo Bay, and the Twelve Apostles; impressively huge rock formations in the sea. Romania:
Airbnb was not specific, about which area of Romania they deemed to be best. They simply chose the whole country as a must-have experience! Located in Eastern Europe, Romania has some beautiful natural spaces its home to brown bears, it has great transport links and exceptional 4G coverage, not to mention a very sociable drinking culture, not unlike the British! If youre not here to see its 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites, the mountain landscapes, or quaint village churches, then you might also be interested in the many art and cultural experiences available. Xian:
It lies at the eastern end of the Silk Road in China and is known around the world for the Terracotta Army it houses. This comprises of thousands of hand-modelled warrior sculptures; each one individual. They were discovered in the tomb of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. The city is also a foodie heaven. People visit here to sample the very best in Shaanxi cuisine, including Biang Biang noodles and mutton stew. Xian should be on everyones bucket list! Eugene:
Youll find Eugene, Oregon in the West of the USA and its great for outdoors and cultural pursuits. Known for being one of Americas most bike-friendly cities, you can cycle, or hike, over to the Delta Old Growth Trail, with its 500-year-old trees. Then, you can canoe in Alton Baker Park, or go climbing in Skinner Butte Park. Nearby, youll find the Redwood National Park and the impressively tranquil Crater Lake. When your energy has run out however, its also a great place to relax with a beer, given its local breweries. Luxembourg:
This is one of the worlds smallest countries. Its citizens speak 3 languages; French, German and the local dialect, and its known for its excellent cuisine; a fusion of influences from the countries that border it. As well as visiting the Grand Ducal Palace, Vianden Castle and the cathedral, be sure to check out the ancient tunnel network underneath the streets! Guadalajara:
Its Mexicos answer to Silicon Valley, Guadalajara is a city infused with a tequila vibe and mariachi music, with huge, beautiful colonial plazas and great local dishes for you to try. Drowned bread rolls is the traditional dish here and utterly delicious. Choice cuts of meat in bread that floats in a spicy tomato sauce is both comforting and moorish. Vanuatu:
You might not even have heard of this group of 80 islands located in the South Pacific. Off the coast of Australia, but once you visit, youll be glad you did! There are 13 main islands here, where French is the main language and dugongs, or sea cows, are top of your must-see list! This is where bungee jumping was invented and the coastlines here are stunning. So, when youre not climbing volcanoes, youll probably be under the waves, looking at the coral and colourful fish.
