Day 1

London to Barcelona

Your journey begins at St Pancras International where you’ll
board the Eurostar and travel to Paris before changing for the
onward service to beautiful Barcelona.

Day 2

To Seville

From Barcelona we take the high speed AVE train for the journey
south to Seville.

Exploring Seville

You may decide to take a guided tour, or simply create your own
route to take in the dizzying array of architectural styles.

Day 4

Seville to Granada

Today head to Granada, an enchanting city scattered over seven
small hills at the confluence of two rivers. Charming, romantic
Granada is dominated by the exquisite Alhambra; one of the most
recognisable palaces in the world. This afternoon you can begin
your exploration of the city with an optional sightseeing tour,
visiting the Albayzin area, which boasts fantastic views of the
Alhambra and retains the narrow winding streets of its medieval
past.

Discover Granada

Perhaps having admired the Alhambra’s remarkable exterior, today
you’ll take the opportunity to get to know this awe-inspiring
building a little deeper. Representing the best of Moorish art and
architecture, this impressive building is regarded as one of the fi
nest in Europe and is packed with architectural and artistic
wonders.

Day 6

Granada to Cordoba

Your journey today takes the Altaria train to Cordoba. This
beautiful city has a relaxed atmosphere, where Christianity, Islam
and Judaism have existed alongside each other for centuries.
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, Cordoba is easy to explore
on foot with a delightful labyrinth of narrow winding alleys and
pretty squares.

Day 7

Exploring Cordoba

Today perhaps continue exploring Cordoba’s rich history and
architectural wonders with a delightful walking tour. Cross the
Roman Bridge and pass the 14th century Calahorra Tower, before
continuing to Cordoba’s most famous landmark the Mezquita. This
opulent medieval mosque is regarded as one of the world’s most
impressive examples of Moorish architecture.

Return Flight

Day 8

Homeward Bound

After breakfast, you transfer by train from Cordoba to Malaga
and then transfer to the suburban service direct to Malaga airport
for your return flight to the UK.
