Day 1

London to Berlin

Start your journey at London St Pancras International today,
where you board the Eurostar bound for Brussels. On arrival, change
trains and travel to Cologne, continuing by Standard Class rail to
Berlin, Germany’s bustling capital, where a private transfer will
be waiting to take you to the 4-Star Ivbergs Premium Hotel, your
base for the next two nights. Situated close to the famous
Potsdamer Platz square, the hotel balances a cosy atmosphere with
modern amenities and an excellent location at the heart of
Berlin.

Day 2

Exploring Berlin

Berlin is a fascinating and lively city with a turbulent past,
which you have the time to explore today at your own pace. Famous
attractions include the remnants of the Berlin Wall, the
Brandenburg Gate, and Checkpoint Charlie, the site where American
and Soviet tanks would stand almost muzzle to muzzle as tensions
flared between the two superpowers.

Days 3

The Venice-Simplon-Orient Express to Paris

Leave Berlin behind today, as you begin your return journey in
superb style. Boarding the Venice-Simplon-Orient Express, for an
overnight journey to Paris on this iconic train, enjoying the
elegant surroundings and vintage features of the beautiful
carriages as you travel through Europe. A delicious dinner is
served on board tonight, after which you may wish to explore the
Bar Car, enjoying a night cap amidst the refined atmosphere
inspired by the on board pianist, before you retire to your
comfortable cabin for the night.

London

Day 4

The Belmond British Pullman and London

Enjoy views of the French countryside this morning, as you take
breakfast on board the Venice-Simplon-Orient Express. Soak in the
scenery as you continue to Paris, where on arrival, you change
trains. Make your way back to London Victoria by rail, travelling
on the Belmond British Pullman, the Venice-Simplon-Orient Express’s
sister train, where your holiday concludes.
