See Bourke Street Mall, tree-lined Collins Street, Federation Square and the spectacular Royal Botanic Gardens. The afternoon is at your leisure. Day 3 – Melbourne – Apollo Bay (114 miles)Collect your car and head for the Great Ocean Road. This magnificent road offers some of the most spectacular coastal views in Australia. Port Fairy is a holiday resort bordered by both river and ocean and is home to a large fishing fleet. Day 7 – Port Fairy – Coonawarra (140 Miles)Travel west from Port Fairy towards the South Australian border and up the Limestone Coast to the Coonawarra wine district where there are fine vineyards to explore.
