Meals included: Dinner Day 3: Siem Reap Begin the day with a visit to the colossal Angkor Wat, before exploring at Angkor Thom and the multi-faced Bayon Temple. See the Elephant Terrace before enjoying your refreshing Khmer lunch. Later visit the atmospheric Ta Prohm Temple as seen in the film Tomb Raider. Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Day 6: Wat Hanchey > Kampong Cham Awake as you approach Wat Hanchey, an ancient hilltop pagoda and monastery to meet the resident novice monks. Walk to the top and soak in some of the best elevated views of the cruise before sailing downstream to Kampong Cham. Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Day 7: Kampong Tralach > Oudong > Kho Chen Cruise up the Tonle Sap River to Kampong Tralach, experience an ox cart ride from the ship through a local village and fields to Wat Kampong Tralach. Board your coach to the ancient capital of Oudong to visit the impressive pagoda and monastery to observe the lifestyle of the resident monks and nuns. Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Day 8: Phnom Penh Journey to the Killing Fields and tour Tuol Sleng, or tour the local food market before joining a hands on Khmer cooking demonstration. Alternatively, by Tuk Tuk explore Phnom Penhs colonial buildings, the Central Market as well as its modern architecture. Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Day 9: Phnom Penh > Tan Chau Visit the National Museum and Royal Palace before setting sail for the Cambodian and Vietnamese border. Relax during your afternoon of cruising as you cross the border into Vietnam. Celebrate arriving in Vietnam with your themed evening dinner. Alternatively explore Chau Doc city or visit Tra Su Bird Sanctuary. Stop for a green tea at the home of Mr Huynh Thuy Le who inspired Marguerite Duras novel LAmant. Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Day 12: Mekong Cruise > Ho Chi Minh City Drive to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy an orientation tour around the attractions near your Special Stay hotel for the next two nights. Spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Meals included: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City Travel along the Saigon River to the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about the underground labyrinth of war-time passageways. After lunch discover all about Vietnams more modern history through a visit to the Reunification Palace and War Museum.
