Day 1: UK → Cape Town

• Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town

• Arrival & scenic transfer to the hotel with stops at Table Mountain (weather permitting).
• If the cable car to Table Mountain’s summit is unavailable, we’ll reschedule for another day.

Day 3: Cape Peninsula

• Drive along Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most spectacular coastal routes.
• Visit Cape Point & Cape Nature Reserve.
• Stop at Boulders Beach to see the African penguin colony.
• Explore Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Muizenberg & Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 4: Cape Town (Optional Township Tour)

• Free day to explore at leisure.
• Optional tour to Khayelitsha Township, including a visit to the Bo-Kaap Malay Quarter and District Six.

Day 5: Stellenbosch (Winelands Tour & Tasting)

• Scenic drive through Western Cape’s wine country.
• Guided walking tour of Stellenbosch, with its Cape Dutch architecture.
• Wine tasting & cellar visit at a local vineyard.

Day 6: Stellenbosch → Oudtshoorn

• Travel through Swellendam, one of South Africa’s oldest towns.
• Explore its historic architecture & museum.
• Drive through the Huisrivier Pass, with breathtaking views of gorges & cliffs.

Day 7: Oudtshoorn → Knysna

• Visit Safari Ostrich Farm in Oudtshoorn, the ‘ostrich capital of the world’.
• Explore the Cango Caves, a 20-million-year-old limestone cave system.
• Arrive in Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route, for a two-night stay.

Day 8: Knysna (Featherbed Nature Reserve)

• Cruise across Knysna Lagoon to Featherbed Nature Reserve.
• Enjoy a guided forest walk past ancient sea caves.
• Buffet lunch at a restaurant by the lagoon.

Day 9: Knysna → Port Elizabeth (Tsitsikamma National Park)

• Travel via Plettenberg Bay to Storms River Mouth in Tsitsikamma National Park.
• Walk across the 77-metre-long suspension bridge over rushing waters leading into the Indian Ocean.
• Continue to Port Elizabeth.

Day 10: Port Elizabeth → Battlefields (Flight to Durban & KwaZulu-Natal)

• Morning city tour of Port Elizabeth.
• Flight to Durban, then transfer to KwaZulu-Natal, home to South Africa’s historic battlefields.

Day 11: Battlefields Tour

• Explore the 1879 Battle of Isandlwana & Rorke’s Drift with an expert Local Guide.
• Relive the moments when 20,000 Zulu warriors faced the British Army.

Day 12: Battlefields → Kruger National Park

• A scenic drive to Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest wildlife reserve.
• Long journey, but packed with stunning landscapes & rural encounters.

Day 13: Kruger National Park (Safari Game Drive)

• Full-day safari searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo).
• Enjoy a breakfast picnic in the bush.

Day 14: Kruger National Park (Optional Safari)

• Free day at the lodge to relax by the pool.
• Optional game drives (morning, afternoon, or full-day) in an open safari vehicle with expert guides.

Day 15: Kruger → Panorama Route & Braai Dinner

• Scenic drive along the Panorama Route, stopping at:
  • God’s Window (rainforest views)
  • Bourke’s Luck Potholes (unique rock formations)
  • The Three Rondavels (stunning rock formations resembling huts)
• Ride the Graskop Gorge Lift, descending 51 metres into the forest below.
• Traditional South African braai (BBQ) under the stars (weather permitting).

Day 16: Kruger → Johannesburg → UK

• Transfer to Johannesburg Airport for an early evening flight back to the UK.

Day 17: Arrive in the UK

• Land in the UK, bringing an unforgettable journey to an end.
