Itinerary

Day 1 Dover

Titans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Dover. Embark Boudicca (3.5-star) in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.

Day 2 At sea

As we sail towards Sweden, youre free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

Day 3 Gothenburg, Sweden

We arrive late morning in Swedens second city. Perhaps wander the cobbled streets of Haga, the citys oldest district. Youll find plenty of cafs serving coffee and warm kanelbullar (cinnamon buns – the perfect autumn treat), as well as traditional wooden houses. Museum-wise, you could marvel at the original Viking longship in the Museum of Gothenburg, or view Rembrandt and Picasso masterpieces in the Konstmuseum.

Days 4-5 At sea

Two free days as we continue our cruise. Enjoy a hearty breakfast then take your pick from the variety of activities on board. Show off your general knowledge in an afternoon or evening quiz. Try your hand at bridge, bingo or deck quoits. Or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea to while away your time. Top off the day with a sumptuous dinner or a simple tasty buffet.

Days 6-7 St Petersburg, Russia (overnight)

Founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, St Petersburg is Russias cultural heart and the jewel of the Baltic. We arrive early on day 6 and stay until late afternoon on day 7. Perhaps opt for a leisurely walking tour taking in opulent Peterhof Palace and the onion-domed Church of Our Saviour on the Spilled Blood. Or visit the Hermitage, one of the worlds greatest museums. As were staying overnight, you might choose to spend the evening enjoying a performance at the Russian ballet.

Day 8 Tallinn, Estonia

Estonias fairytale capital is our port of call today. Discover winding cobbled streets, Gothic architecture and pastel-hued merchants houses in the UNESCO-protected Old Town, one of Europes best-preserved historical centres. Stars of the show include the domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Toompea Castle, with its pink-painted faade. Just outside the Old Town is another highlight: Kadriorg Palace. This impressive baroque palace was once an imperial summer residence and is surrounded by immaculate gardens. Nowadays, it houses the Art Museum of Estonias Russian and Western European collection.

Day 9 At sea

Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.

Day 10 Copenhagen, Denmark

Enjoy a day in Copenhagen. Maybe start with coffee and cake at a caf overlooking Nyhavn canal (home to those tall ships and colourful townhouses), before exploring Amalienborg or Christiansborg palaces. Or perhaps visit the Kings Garden at Rosenborg Castle, where the trees will be starting to display their autumn colours.

Day 11 Kiel Canal Transit

Today well cruise through serene countryside as we transit the Kiel Canal. One of the worlds busiest waterways, it cuts a path between the North and Baltic seas.

Day 12 At sea

As we sail home you may want to rest after all your sightseeing. If youre still full of energy, theres lots to fill your time – from quizzes, games and music recitals to walks on deck and dance classes. And of course theres plenty of opportunity to enjoy all the tasty food options.

Day 13 Dover

We arrive back in Dover early this morning, disembarking after breakfast. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
